First and Perpetual Professions of Claretian Students of NEID

31 May is a special day for the Claretian Missionaries in India as it is the Day of Professions in the Congregation. This year four Claretian students from Northeast India Independent Delegation made their Perpetual Profession at Claret Villa, Shillong and six novices made their First Profession at Claret Bhavan, Carmelaram, Bangalore on 31 May 2020. Fr. Pius Thuruthiyil, CMF the major superior of NEID accepted the perpetual commitment of the four students at Claret Villa, while Fr. George Mattam accepted the vows of the novices at Carmelaram in the presence of a few other Claretian missionaries. Eight students from NEID renewed their profession for one more year in the congregation on the same day.
